Lately I'm just wasting a lot of valuable time just waiting for PP7 to recover from a crash. ProPresenter operators control presentations on one screen, while dynamically presenting to an audience on one or more additional outputs. Anyone else have any suggestions? I'm willing to screen record, get on the phone, email, chat, whatever. Do you all experience performance issues like this? I've been in touch with RV support, but they can't seem to pinpoint the problem.
I know many folks on here have much older, far more robust libraries. On the other machine I have a barebones PP7 install just to see and it runs great.
Just trying to resize a text box or apply a theme crashes the entire program for a few minutes and the program is completely unresponsive. However, most of the time, PP7 is painfully slow at *everything*. I have several dozen songs, some sermons, some background motion graphics, still pictures, some Bible passages, etc, but nothing too terribly heavy, I don't think. Right now, I have what I would call a moderate amount of data in PP7. That being said, it didn't seem to have issues. At my previous church they ran PP6 on Mac, but I barely used it. I'm pretty new to my current ministry still and so I have no previous knowledge of ProPresenter 7 on Windows to compare to.
